Tapbit news, September 16 - According to BIT (bit.com) market data, semiconductor, storage, and optical communication sectors all edged higher in pre-market trading on Wednesday.
Semiconductor stocks rose broadly, with Lam Research (LRCX) up 2.26%, Applied Materials (AMAT) up 1.55%, and Arm (ARM) up 1.41%.
The storage sector also advanced, with SK Hynix (SKHY) up 3.47%, Micron Technology (MU) up 0.81%, Western Digital (WDC) up 1.43%, SanDisk (SNDK) up 0.9%, and Seagate Technology (STX) up 0.99%.
Optical communication concept stocks led the gains, with Applied Optoelectronics (AAOI) up 2.17%, Coherent (COHR) up 3.25%, Credo (CRDO) up 1.74%, Lumentum (LITE) up 2.59%, and Nokia (NOK) up 4.78%.
