Tapbit news, October 22 — The 2026 World Physical AI Conference and Unitree Partner Ecosystem Conference was held today in Hangzhou. In his keynote speech, Wang Xingxing, Chairman, General Manager and CTO of Unitree Technology, said that for top large-model companies, in a sense, they have basically achieved self-evolution of models internally. Models write programs and collect data on their own, with humans only needing to provide appropriate guidance and participation. But why don't people feel this so deeply? Because it takes 5–10 years from a technological breakthrough to its diffusion to everyone's use. Physical AI has already shown signs of being broken through. The core challenge for embodied intelligence to cross the ChatGPT moment is aligning AI model inputs/outputs with real robots.
