Trump’s $5K dividend plan could trigger an altcoin season: analyst

Crypto analyst Mark Chadwick said Donald Trump’s proposal to pay a $5,000 dividend to each U.S. adult could trigger an almost unimaginable altcoin season if implemented, CryptoPotato reported.

In a post on X, Chadwick said the plan could become a liquidity catalyst similar to the 2021 COVID-19 stimulus and could add momentum to a bull market that is already taking shape. Trump previously announced that he would pay a $5,000 dividend to all U.S. citizens if Republicans win both the House and Senate in the upcoming midterm elections.
