NIGHT completes Ledger 9 mainnet upgrade

Privacy-focused layer-one blockchain NIGHT said it upgraded its mainnet from Ledger 8 to Ledger 9. The upgrade includes new features for developers as well as network-wide security, compatibility and performance improvements.

Unlike previous upgrades, Ledger 9 was applied directly to mainnet without a deployment to the preproduction environment, Preprod, and without a stabilization observation period. NIGHT said it uses that approach when a more controlled deployment path is needed to protect the network during security fixes.
