Tapbit news, November 4: According to an official Binance announcement, about 98% of the assets affected in Binance's security incident have been backfilled. The remaining 2% of tokens have low liquidity, and Binance will continue to purchase them through market channels and over-the-counter (OTC) channels. Binance said it has set aside more than 100% of the total amount of assets required from its own funds and will bear the full losses of the stolen funds.

In addition, Binance completed a new round of proof-of-reserves snapshots on November 4, expanding token coverage from 10 in the previous round to 44. The full zero-knowledge proof is expected to take 50 to 60 hours to generate, after which users can verify for themselves whether their account balances are backed by reserves of at least 1:1. Binance said it will continue to push forward with the full restoration of withdrawal services.
