Tapbit news, Nov. 1 — According to Zhitong Finance, Apple CEO John Ternus recently defended Apple's current positioning in artificial intelligence in an interview. Over the past few years, the outside world has often felt that Apple was lagging in the AI race, especially after the company delayed a more powerful version of Siri, which only officially launched this summer. Ternus, a veteran Apple executive, formally took over as CEO in early September. He acknowledged that "everyone has their own opinion," but insisted: "I'm very happy with where we are." Ternus added that Apple will certainly use AI in new products, but said: "We don't want to ship AI just for the sake of AI. If we do it well, users won't think about whether a feature is powered by AI or by traditional software. The point is whether we build products that users genuinely love."
