PANews reported on December 31 that U.S. Representative Warren Davidson of Ohio stated that the value of Bitcoin lies in its being a “permissionless, peer-to-peer payment system” that allows individuals to directly control funds without third-party intervention and enables extremely rapid asset transfers.
