Although Secretary-General Guterres is committed to doing everything possible to achieve a comprehensive and lasting resolution to the conflict, immediate action to mitigate these consequences is crucial.
To address these challenges, the Secretary-General has established a dedicated task force. The task force will be led by UN Under-Secretary-General and Executive Director of the United Nations Office for Project Services, Dujarric. It will also include representatives from the United Nations Conference on Trade and Development, the International Maritime Organization, and the International Chamber of Commerce, and will invite other agencies to participate as needed.
