Media reveals details of Iran’s latest negotiation proposal

DeepFlow TechFlow News, May 3rd. According to Al Jazeera reported locally at around 3:00 PM on May 3rd today (local time), the latest negotiation proposal put forward by Iran includes three stages. The first stage contains ‘transforming the ceasefire into a comprehensive truce within 30 days’, ‘determining the principles for constructing an international mechanism that can ensure the resumption of hostilities is prevented’, ‘achieving a ceasefire in all areas and both parties committing not to break it, with the ceasefire covering all of Iran’s regional allies and Israel’, ‘gradually lifting the blockade on Iranian ports in a manner compatible with the phased reopening of the Strait of Hormuz’, ‘Iran being responsible for clearing naval mines’, ‘re-adjusting the content previously proposed by Iran regarding compensation and other matters’, ‘the U.S. withdrawing from the waters around Iran and ceasing new troop deployments’, among other things.

The second stage includes ‘discussing a complete suspension of uranium enrichment within a maximum period of 15 years’, and ‘after the specified period expires, Iran will resume uranium enrichment activities under the principle of zero stockpiling’. At the same time, the proposal opposes the dismantling or destruction of Iran’s nuclear facilities, and for existing high-enriched uranium stockpiles, it suggests transferring them abroad or diluting the enrichment ratio. Furthermore, the proposal also addresses the gradual lifting of economic sanctions on Iran. In the third stage, Iran will hold strategic talks with regional countries to discuss how to build a comprehensive security system covering the entire region. (CCTV International News)
