PANews July 21 news, according to Sina Finance, a study by Nikkei shows that with the surge in artificial intelligence investment, the hidden debt of U.S. tech giants has grown eightfold in just four years, estimated to reach $1.65 trillion. This figure exceeds their actual debt on the books, making it harder for investors to assess related risks. Nikkei analyzed the recent financial statements and other materials of Google parent Alphabet, Microsoft, Amazon, Meta, and Oracle. Among them, Meta’s off-balance-sheet debt is particularly high, at about $420 billion, almost three times its recorded debt.
