YELLOW has suddenly become one of the market’s more eye-catching small-cap tokens. At the time of writing, it was trading near $0.09 after gaining more than 200% in 24 hours, with a daily range stretching from roughly $0.029 to $0.091. Market capitalization had climbed to around $29 million, while 24-hour volume reached approximately $2.4 million.
Prices this volatile can change quickly, so these figures should be treated as a market snapshot rather than a stable valuation.
The rally has put Yellow Network’s AI-agent strategy back in focus. Yet there’s an important distinction: the project has produced a credible utility model and several relevant integrations, but there is no clear evidence that one new announcement alone caused the latest price spike.
That leaves YELLOW in an unusual position. The story is becoming more interesting, while the price may already be running ahead of what the network has demonstrated.
What Is Yellow Network?

Yellow Network is developing a non-custodial clearing and settlement layer for crypto trading. Its architecture uses state channels to process activity away from the underlying blockchain before settling the final result on-chain.
The goal is to let brokers, applications and automated trading systems exchange value across different networks without sending every individual action through a costly on-chain transaction. Multiple trades can be matched and netted off-chain, while blockchain settlement remains available when funds need to move.
This model becomes particularly relevant when software agents trade with one another. An AI agent may be able to find prices, route orders and hedge positions quickly, but it still needs rules governing what it is allowed to do and infrastructure that can settle the resulting transactions.
Yellow wants to provide the second half of that equation.
AI Agents Are Giving YELLOW a Better Story

Yellow Network’s most recent catalyst is its partnership with MOI.technology, announced on October 6, 2026. The companies are working on a system in which users can give AI agents limited, adjustable authority while Yellow handles non-custodial clearing and settlement.
A user could define the markets an agent may access, the maximum position size, permitted instruments, time restrictions and available data. Those permissions could then be changed or revoked without giving the agent unrestricted control over the account.
Under the proposed integration, MOI-authorized agents would be able to execute and settle transactions through Yellow Network. They are also expected to trade on Yellow Pro within the limits established by the user. Integration work was scheduled to begin after the release of MOI’s software development kits in October.
This is a more convincing use of the “AI crypto” label than simply attaching artificial intelligence to a token. Fast autonomous trading creates a genuine need for permission controls, collateral management and reliable settlement.
Still, a planned integration is not the same as production adoption. The market now needs evidence that AI agents are actually generating trades, settlement volume and fee demand.
YELLOW Has Utility—But Usage Determines Its Value

YELLOW is the network’s ERC-20 utility token. The official contract listed by the project is:
0x236eB848C95b231299B4AA9f56c73D6893462720
Its total supply is fixed at 10 billion tokens, with no additional minting or token-burning mechanism. Node operators must deposit YELLOW as collateral to participate in the network. The minimum requirement begins at 10,000 YELLOW and can increase to 125,000 as a node takes on greater responsibility.
The token is also used to access clearing, settlement, data-delivery and application services. Fees generated by clearing and trading can be added to node collateral, while application developers may need to post YELLOW as a service guarantee that can be penalized when rules are broken.
This creates a plausible path from network adoption to token demand. More nodes would require more collateral, while greater clearing activity could increase the amount of YELLOW consumed or locked inside the system.
The catch is that this relationship works only when people use the network. A utility model described in documentation does not automatically create sustainable demand. Yellow must turn its infrastructure, partnerships and developer tools into recurring economic activity.
The Price Move Still Lacks a Clean Trigger

The MOI partnership strengthens Yellow’s long-term narrative, but it was announced more than two weeks before the latest price surge. No equally significant same-day product release or confirmed major exchange listing has been publicly identified to explain the full move.
Yellow’s whitepaper says the project intends to seek listings on exchanges including Coinbase, Kraken and Bithumb. That language describes an intention, not a completed listing. A listing should not be treated as confirmed unless the exchange publishes its own announcement.
This distinction is especially important after a triple-digit rally. In a smaller market, momentum, concentrated buying and shallow order books can move the displayed price faster than the underlying project changes.
The rally may reflect growing interest in Yellow’s AI-agent positioning. It may also contain a substantial speculative component. At present, the available evidence does not justify reducing the move to one definitive cause.
Liquidity Could Be the Hardest Part of the Trade
Most reported YELLOW trading activity is concentrated on Yellow Pro, while liquidity on other venues remains limited. That concentration makes the token more sensitive to individual orders and changes in market-making activity.
A quoted price does not guarantee that a larger position can be opened or closed at that level. Slippage may increase quickly when order-book depth is thin, particularly after a rapid rise.
There is also a considerable gap between YELLOW’s market valuation and the value currently visible in decentralized-finance tracking. DefiLlama reported approximately $73,000 in Yellow TVL around October 18. TVL is not a complete measure of a state-channel clearing network, but it still shows that the token’s market narrative has expanded faster than conventional on-chain liquidity indicators.
For traders, this makes execution quality just as important as the direction of the chart.
What Would Make the Rally More Convincing?
The next stage of the YELLOW story will not be decided by another partnership headline. It will depend on whether Yellow can demonstrate that its infrastructure is being used.
The most meaningful signals would be live MOI integration, growing settlement volume, more active node operators and a rising amount of YELLOW committed as collateral. Broader liquidity across independent trading venues would also make price discovery more reliable.
Supply deserves equal attention. If circulation expands faster than network demand, even genuine product progress may not be enough to support the token’s fully diluted valuation.
YELLOW therefore presents two very different ideas at once. Yellow Network is building infrastructure around a real emerging problem: how autonomous agents can trade without receiving unlimited authority or surrendering user custody. The token market, however, is already assigning a much larger valuation to that possibility than the current circulation and network activity alone would suggest.

Frequently Asked Questions
What is YELLOW token?
YELLOW is the utility token of Yellow Network, a non-custodial clearing and settlement protocol. It is used for node collateral, network-service access, application guarantees and certain dispute-resolution functions.
Why is YELLOW price rising?
Interest in Yellow Network’s AI-agent settlement strategy is one possible contributor, particularly after its partnership with MOI. However, no single new announcement has been confirmed as the sole cause of the latest surge. Low circulating supply and concentrated liquidity may have amplified the move.
How many YELLOW tokens are in circulation?
CoinGecko reports approximately 319.9 million YELLOW in circulation out of a fixed 10 billion supply. This means roughly 96.8% of total supply is not included in the reported circulating figure.
